Church History, Part 6: Ignatius (1st session)

The Rev. Adam Young teaches through the history of the church in this video.

“Ignatius, Bishop of Antioch, is arguably the most important and influential of the Apostolic Fathers. In this first of two lectures on the man’s letters we will introduce the bishop, his history, journey, and context. We will then consider the increasingly common problems of people writing under pseudonyms and the impact this will have on the Church, the function and role of the Bishop in the thinking of Ignatius, and finally his approach to and understanding of the Eucharist or Lord’s Supper.”
