Church History, Part 11: Justin Marytr

The Rev. Adam Young teaches through the history of the church in this video.

“Justin Martyr is the foremost of the writers known as the Early Church Apologists. A Philosopher by trade he became a Christian following an intriguing conversation with an old man whilst walking outside the city of Ephesus. Despite becoming a Christian he didn’t stop being a philosophy and dedicated his life to spreading ‘the true philosophy.’ By bringing Christ into the Greek culture and worldview, and bringing that same culture and worldview into how he expressed his faith, he powerfully argued for the truth of Christianity in ways which would impact the church for centuries to come.”
